The lifestyle I’ve been living the past months dealing with a rebellious start-up like Sealoe hasn’t been kind on my body, haha. Late nights, bad foods, no sleep and no workouts has left me with waking up up to 5 times per night thinking I’ve overslept, brain fog and big ol’ bag under my eyes, and the muscle and tone I worked my ass off for when I was living in Australia is goonzo. It’s time for a change and as Sealoe has grown from a toddler going bananas all over the place trying to figure out how to walk and slowly transformed into a pretty cool kid you can leave alone for at least a couple of minutes without trashing the place – I can start making some positive changes in my lifestyle and bring more energy to the company, ergo a even better company! Here’s some changes I’ve made the last couple of weeks..
Going out for a long walk in the morning where I can clear my head. Staying away from processed foods as much as I can.
Drink more water (I add berries & chia seeds) Absolutely no sugar except for fruit sugars
Stay away from soda and foods that wont go bad. Like stuff from cans and processed foods you heat in microwaves.
Find time for the gym – I really need it! A 3km walk before dinner where I can make phone
calls while I walk and get some fresh air. After dinner I wont make or take work calls.
It’s easy to fall into a bad habit and it’s hard sticking to new healthy habits but making some healthy changes will probably make me a chill out camper and who wouldn’t want to add a little more zen and serenity to their life? Everyone struggles with stress once in a while and it’s important to listen to the body. My body is clearly fed up with me living like I’m Ozzy Osbourne in the 70’s minus the quaaludes and stuff. It’s time for a healthy change and since it’s been a while I have some googleing to do. I’m on the look out for healthy recipes, workout schedules, inspirational blogs and just anything to keep me motivated and healthy. Know any awesome bloggers I can start following? Hit me up!
